Once you have paid in full and your surgery has been completed, we will issue a detailed receipt, including item numbers. You can use this document to claim from Medicare or your private health fund, depending on the nature of your procedure and what level of cover you might hold.

If you proceed with surgery, we will provide contact details for the hospital and anaesthetist so you can obtain quotes for any additional costs.

Please follow your surgeon’s pre-operative instructions carefully. If undergoing general anaesthesia, a standard fasting requirement is to not eat or drink for at least 6 hours before surgery. Arrange for someone to drive you home after your procedure.
If you have received general anaesthesia, you must travel with a responsible adult or carer. Please arrange for an adult to collect you from the hospital and remain with you for at least 24 hours following your procedure.
If your surgery is performed under local anaesthetic only, you may take a taxi; however, we recommend that a family member or friend accompany you where possible.
Some medications, such as blood thinners, may need to be adjusted before surgery. Please inform your Surgeon of all medications you take, and they will advise you accordingly.
